Q. My trash is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays by Miami-Dade Solid Waste Management. The driver always compacts the trash right in front of my house, and all that dirty water pours out into my driveway. And every time I have to go clean it up with Clorox.

This doesn't happen to any other house on the block.

Please ask the county how come he is compacting the truck in a residential neighborhood and at my door.

A. We did. The department sent out a crew to pressure clean your driveway. It addressed the issue with the driver and sent the truck to be checked for maintenance issues, spokeswoman Yvette Colbourne wrote in an e-mail. It also contacted you to follow up.
